Celebrities at Cambridge 2007

A number of celebrities are attending various parts of Cambridge Conference 2007. These include Kate Adie, who until December 2002 was the BBC's chief news correspondent, blazing a trail for women in journalism as Britain's leading female war reporter, and is opening the English Garden Party on the Sunday afternoon.

Air Marshal Stuart Peach, Chief of Defence Intelligence is making a keynote address at the first session of the conference.

Helen Boaden, Director of BBC News, is making a keynote address at a special session of the Conference.

The speaker at the Hotine lecture has now been confirmed as Sir Martin Sweeting OBE FRS, Director of the Surrey Space Centre and celebrated as a most entertaining speaker.
