The Cambridge Conference is a not-for-profit event that depends on sponsorship to help cover its costs which, if only covered by delegate registration fees, would make those fees prohibitively expensive. Sponsorship not only helps to keep down the cost of attendance but also enables the organisers to provide assisted places for delegates who would not otherwise be able to attend. It also places the sponsoring organisations' names in front of one of the most high-level assemblies of senior National Mapping Organisation delegates to be found anywhere in the world.
