Every year, more than 3½ million visitors flock to Cambridge to enjoy the delights of the historic city - with its world-renowned university and centre of excellence for technology and science - and to explore some of England's gentlest and most unspoiled scenery. It is also easily accessible by air, rail and road.

St John's College, on the scenic banks of the River Cam, is the the University of Cambridge's second largest constituent college - founded in 1511 by the mother of King Henry VII, Lady Margaret Beaufort. It has about 120 Fellows, 530 undergraduates, 280 graduate students and a membership of about 12,000 - comprising all who have studied there.

NB - SMOKING:  All attendees are asked to note that, following legislation that will come into force on 1 July 2007, smoking will be prohibited in all enclosed public places in England.  This includes all pubs and bars, restaurants, shops and all indoor parts of St John's College.  Please do take notice of NO SMOKING signs - they are now backed by law.
