Venue

Given its full name, the College of St John the Evangelist is set besides the River Cam in one of the most beautiful sites in the city of Cambridge.  The College was founded in 1511 by the last will and testament of Lady Margaret of Beaufort, the mother of King Henry VII.  The buildings have a number of outstanding feature, including the renowned Bridge of Sighs and the Dining Hall, with its 16th Century hammerbeam roof, and have been added to over the years, including the Chapel, built in the Victorian Gothic style.

Most of the conference proceedings are held in the Fisher Building, which was opened in 1988 and has several meeting rooms and a 320-seat lecture theatre, all of which are equipped with the very latest audio-visual and presentation technology.
