Delegate Asisstance

The legendary series of Cambridge Conferences, held every four years and tracing their roots back to 1928, was enhanced in 2005 with the first CC: The Exchange conference. This shared much of the character of the Cambridge Conference, but on a smaller scale and more focussed style, the focus being on the international mapping and cadastral community acting with collective determination to drive forward initiatives to raise the ability of all countries, rich and poor, to improve and modernise their mapping.

To bring together a representative assembly of the world’s mapping and cadastral agencies requires, in some cases, financial support. To this end, a system of delegate support has been developed. This enables delegates who, without support, would not be able to attend to give the conference the benefit of their experience and insight into their special needs.

Thanks to the organisations that are the conference, we have again been able to offer a delegate assistance scheme.  All the available funds have been allocated and arrangements are now in hand that will enable 6 delegates to attend, who would not otherwise have been able to.

If you wish to be considered for the Delegate Assistance programme, please contact Peter Standen at Ordnance Survey.
