How do I book a place for myself?

You will need to register. Please click on the registration button and put in your own details into the Account settings. Then you can use a credit card to make payment.

What type of credit card do you accept?

We accept Visa and Mastercard Debit and Credit Cards. We do not accept American Express or JCB cards.

How do I book for more than one person to attend the conference?

Each delegate needs to have their own account details as this will hold any information about special requirements. Please set each delegate up as an individual account holder and register them individually.

I haven’t got a credit card, how do I book a place?

You can book a delegate place using bank transfer. Simply book a delegate place and select bank transfer as the payment option. This will result in an email with our bank details. Your place will be held for you for 48 hours. Please ensure you make your payment within 48 hours. If you have difficulty with this, please email cambridgeconference@os.uk

Can you send me an invoice?

If you make a payment in full by credit or debit card at the time of your booking, an invoice will automatically be emailed to you once the payment has been authorised.

If you decide to pay for the conference in two installments, you will receive an invoice by email each time you make a payment, again, once the payment has been authorised.

If you do not have a credit card and decide to pay via bank transfer, the payment will be processed by our Credit Card team once we see the payment in our account. Once the payment is processed then an invoice will be emailed to you.

I haven’t received a confirmation email. Should I?

You will receive a confirmation email containing a receipt when your payment has been processed. If this has not arrived after 48 hours, please email cambridgeconference@os.uk

Do you have assisted or reduced price places for this conference?

We have not been able to secure funding for assisted or discounted delegate places. Please book using the Early Bird rate to book the most cost effective ticket.

What is the Social Programme and is that included in my booking?

The Social Programme is our name for the evening activities and meals. This includes:

  • Welcome reception at the Oxford Natural History Museum on Sunday 2 July
  • Evening activity and meal on Monday 3 July
  • The Hotine Lecture and meal on Tuesday 4 July
  • Gala dinner on Wednesday 6 July

For all delegates booking to attend the conference, the Social Programme is included within the conference fee. However, we recognise that some delegates would like to include their partners in the evening activities. Therefore, you can register for an additional person to attend the Social Programme.

Can I bring my partner to attend the Social Programme with me?

Yes, you can. Please add a Social Programme ticket to your account. Please note that accommodation is not included in the Social Programme price and delegates requiring double or twin rooms should book separate accommodation.

What if I’ve forgotten the password for my account?

Simply click on the forgotten password link and the system will email you to enable you to reset your password.

When does the Early Bird rate end?

The Early Bird booking rate will end on 1 April 2017. After this, the price will increase to the standard rate.

I have special dietary requirements. How do I tell you about that?

Please use the special requirements box in your account information to tell us.

I can’t manage stairs. How do I tell you?

I haven’t been invited to the conference, can I still attend?

The conference is aimed at senior level/heads of national mapping and cadastre organisations. If you haven’t been invited and would still like to attend, please email us at cambridgeconference@os.uk and explain why you think it would be relevant to you. We will respond to your email within 48 hours.

What is the cancellation policy?

To receive a refund, you need to let us know at cambridgeconference@os.uk before 1 April 2017. After this date, no refunds will be given.

I am no longer able to attend, but I’d like to send a colleague. How do I do this?

Email us at cambridgeconference@os.uk to let us know. A £20 re-booking fee will be charged.

What’s included in the conference registration fee?

  • Single, en-suite bedroom accommodation for four nights (Sunday 2 July – Thursday 6 July 2017)
  • All meals including breakfast from Sunday afternoon until Thursday morning
  • Full attendance at the Social Programme events
  • Full access to the conference and exhibition
  • Delegate goody bag

When is the last date I can book?

We will accept bookings until midnight on Tuesday 20 June 2017. After this, the delegate registration links and booking information will be removed.
